Clinical and Public Health Applications

My computational work is grounded in real-world clinical and public health challenges, with a strong focus on last-mile execution and deployment. I also collaborate closely with public health and clinical communities to support research adoption.

Deployed Public Health Monitoring
Detecting events from millions of data streams in real-time.

The FlaSH system is deployed at Carnegie Mellon University and has been used for over 2 and a half years to monitor large scale data streams for anomalies.

Public Health Tooling
Agentic Perspectives for Population Modeling/Decision Making Tools

Statistical methods such as Monte Carlo modeling can support decision-making in public and population health, including resource forecasting under uncertainty.

Rare Disorders and Geospatial Variability
Addressing anomalies and variability

Neglected diseases and disorders can appear as anomalies in data. They can be detected and monitored using anomaly detection theory.
